Looking for a hobby, Nakamoto purchased a DSLR camera in 2016. The following year, she visited Hiroshima during the winter for photos, and was fascinated by the snowscape she saw there. Ever since, she has been mainly shooting landscape photos.

Kurokawa Onsen's "Yu-Akari" lantern festival illuminates the hot spring town from late December to the end of March. The bridge in the middle of the town offers the best viewing and shooting angle. You'll have a fascinating time just strolling around the hot spring town. While enjoying the Yu-Akari illuminations, you can also indulge in "Kurokawa Kappo," a unique bar hopping experience. "Kappo Tegata," a bar hopping ticket, allows you to select three places from the participating inns and shops to savor a set of nibbles and drink at each place. Sake bar hopping is just as nice as hot spa hopping!
