Nabegataki Falls is the most famous waterfall in Kumamoto Prefecture with a fall of 12m and width of 20m. Although it isn't so large, its beautiful appearance combined with the ease of access make it a popular spot for tourists. It shows various expressions throughout the seasons, so you can enjoy taking photos at the waterfall no matter when you choose to visit. Nagabeta Seabed Road is a paved road of about 1 kilometer in the sea built by a local fishery cooperative for fishermen who conduct seaweed cultivation and shellfish harvesting in the tideland. You can visit here during any time of the year. As the scenery differs depending on the tide, if you want to see the sea floor, you may want to aim for low tide. Since it faces west, you can see it along with the sunset. So do come and visit!

Mt. Daikanbo
